File sharing for freelancers.
You ship deliverables to ten clients a month. Half won't install Dropbox. One is behind a firewall that blocks WeTransfer. quik.space is pay-per-send, $0 under 100 MB, up to $5 for 5 GB, and no client account anywhere. Attach your email at upload, use /find to dig up any past link, and stop paying $120 a year for a portal you barely use.

No email means no recovery. If you lose this link, we can't get you back to this file.

The freelancer problem
You bill ten clients a month. Half of them won't install Dropbox. Two of them sit behind a corporate firewall that blocks WeTransfer. One of them keeps losing the email with the deliverable. You don't want to pay for a portal you barely use.
How quik.space fits in
quik.space is pay-per-send. Free under 100 MB. $1 for under 500 MB. $5 for up to 5 GB. The client opens the link in any browser, no signup, no install. Attach your email at upload and use /find to recover any past link in seconds when the client emails you again three days later.
An example workflow
- Export the final deliverable. Whatever your craft outputs: a packaged design, a video cut, a code zip, a finished doc.
- Drop on quik.space and attach your email. Email attachment is optional, but it puts the link in /find so you can resurface it weeks later when a client comes back.
- Send the link with your invoice. Client downloads. You move on. No portal subscription, no per-client storage cost.
What you’ll typically send
File types freelancers usually ship through quik.space:
- Project deliverables (varies by craft)
- Invoices and contracts (PDF)
- Source files and exports
- Reference docs and brand assets
- Final-mile zips for client handoff
Typical delivery size sits around 10 MB to 2 GB per handoff. That maps to the free tier (under 100 MB), the $1 Large upload bracket (under 500 MB), or the $5 XL upload bracket (up to 5 GB). See pricing for the full table.
Private by default
quik.space does not train AI on your files. We do not read them. We do not index them. The file is visible only to whoever holds the share link, and it auto-deletes when the clock runs out. WeTransfer changed its terms in July 2025 to allow AI training on user files. We made the opposite call and put it in writing.
Frequently asked
- Can I see every file I've ever sent?
- Yes if you attach your email at upload. /find shows every link you've sent under that email: active, in-grace, and recently purged. Each row links to the share page.
- What does this cost compared to Dropbox?
- Dropbox starts at around $10/month for the Plus plan. quik.space is $0 if you send under 100 MB, $1 for up to 500 MB, $5 for up to 5 GB. If you send fewer than ten files a month, you pay less per send and never owe a monthly fee.
- Will my client need an account?
- No. Anyone with the link downloads in any browser. No signup, no email gate, no app install.
- Can I send invoices and deliverables together?
- Yes. Create a 30-day space for $5 and drop the invoice PDF + deliverable zip + reference doc in. The whole group expires together. Renewable for $5.
- What if the client says they never received it?
- Resend the same link if it's still alive. If it's in grace, $2 brings it back for 30 more days. If it's already purged, re-upload (the bytes are gone by design).
