quik.spaceBack to drop

File sharing for music producers.

Your Logic session collected with audio is 2.4 GB. The mix engineer wants it tonight. The artist wants a link they can play in the car. quik.space takes one zip up to 5 GB for $5, streams MP3 references inline, and won't train any model on your unreleased track. Producer, mix, and master pull from the same URL. No subscription, no portal.

The music producer problem

A 24-track Logic session with audio is 2 GB before you bounce stems. SoundCloud needs an account. Splice is a subscription. The mix engineer wants a Dropbox link but the artist doesn't want to install Dropbox. Email is out at 25 MB the moment you add a single stem.

How quik.space fits in

quik.space sends one zipped session up to 5 GB for $5. The share page plays inline MP3 references so the artist can listen before downloading. Anyone-with-the-link means producer, mix engineer, and mastering all pull from the same URL without a Slack invite or a Splice seat.

An example workflow

  1. Bounce or freeze the session. Logic: File > Save As > Copy assets. Ableton: File > Collect All and Save. Zip the folder.
  2. Drop on quik.space. Most sessions zip down to the $1 (under 500 MB) bracket. Full multi-track stems land at $5 (up to 5 GB). Drop an MP3 reference in the free tier alongside.
  3. Send the link. Mix engineer downloads the session. Artist plays the reference inline. Mastering grabs the final stem bounce. Same link, three people.

What you’ll typically send

File types music producers usually ship through quik.space:

  • Logic Pro and Ableton Live session zips
  • Pro Tools session archives
  • WAV and AIFF stems
  • MP3 and AAC reference mixes
  • Mastered WAV exports

Typical delivery size sits around 500 MB to 4 GB per session. That maps to the free tier (under 100 MB), the $1 Large upload bracket (under 500 MB), or the $5 XL upload bracket (up to 5 GB). See pricing for the full table.

Private by default

quik.space does not train AI on your files. We do not read them. We do not index them. The file is visible only to whoever holds the share link, and it auto-deletes when the clock runs out. WeTransfer changed its terms in July 2025 to allow AI training on user files. We made the opposite call and put it in writing.

Frequently asked

Can the artist preview the reference mix in the browser?
Yes. MP3, WAV, OGG, and AAC play inline on the share page. The artist can listen on phone, laptop, or studio monitors without downloading first.
What about Logic and Ableton session sizes?
Zip your session folder. Most sessions sit between 200 MB and 3 GB once collected. quik.space accepts single files up to 5 GB.
Will my unreleased track be used for AI training?
No. We do not train any model on user files. The 2025 wave of music-AI scrapers is exactly why we put this in writing. Your unreleased track is not training data.
How do I send stems to the mastering engineer?
Bounce stems out of your DAW, zip them, upload. Or create a space for $5 and drop each stem in individually. The 30-day clock buys time if mastering takes a week.
Can I extend the link if the mix engineer is slow?
Yes. $2 extends the file by 30 days, renewable as many times as needed. No subscription, no plan.
