quik.spaceBack to drop

File sharing for accountants.

Year-end packet, 240 MB of statements and returns. Your client portal costs $400 a year and the client forgets the password. quik.space sends the packet over one link for $1, renders the return inline, and disappears on a 72-hour clock unless you extend it. Attach your firm email, use /find in January when the client comes back, and stop paying for a portal you barely use.

Drop a file.

Free under 100 MB. $1 up to 500 MB. $5 up to 5 GB. No signup, no AI training on your files.

No email means no recovery. If you lose this link, we can't get you back to this file.

The accountant problem

A full year-end packet for one client is 200 MB of PDFs, statements, and source docs. Email bounces at 25 MB. Your client portal is $400/year per practitioner and the client still forgets the password. The bookkeeper sends you Excel files over WhatsApp.

How quik.space fits in

quik.space sends a full client packet over one link for $1 (up to 500 MB) or free under 100 MB. The client opens it in any browser, no portal login. PDFs preview inline so the client can flip through the return before downloading. Attach your email and use /find to dig up the link in January when the client calls about their 1099.

An example workflow

  1. Bundle the client packet. Final return PDF, supporting workpapers, signed engagement letter, statements. One zip per client.
  2. Upload to quik.space. Most packets fall under 500 MB ($1). Attach your firm email so /find can resurface the link later.
  3. Send the link with the invoice. Client opens, previews the return inline, downloads. Pays you. Walks away.

What you’ll typically send

File types accountants usually ship through quik.space:

  • Tax returns (PDF, native QuickBooks)
  • Bookkeeping exports (CSV, Excel)
  • Audit work papers
  • Bank statement bundles (PDF)
  • Year-end client packages

Typical delivery size sits around 10 MB to 500 MB per client packet. That maps to the free tier (under 100 MB), the $1 Large upload bracket (under 500 MB), or the $5 XL upload bracket (up to 5 GB). See pricing for the full table.

Private by default

quik.space does not train AI on your files. We do not read them. We do not index them. The file is visible only to whoever holds the share link, and it auto-deletes when the clock runs out. WeTransfer changed its terms in July 2025 to allow AI training on user files. We made the opposite call and put it in writing.

Frequently asked

Will my client's tax return be visible to anyone else?
Only whoever holds the share URL. Links are 8-character random IDs, practically unguessable. We do not index or list user files. We do not train AI on uploaded content.
Is this acceptable for a CPA firm's data handling policy?
quik.space encrypts in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We do not store raw IPs. We do not have a BAA, so do not use for HIPAA-covered files. Many small firms find the 72-hour default + 7-day grace good enough as a transmission surface, alongside long-term archive storage at the firm.
Can I keep the packet around through filing season?
Yes. $2 extends a file by 30 days, renewable. Or use a 30-day space ($5) and drop multiple client deliverables in (one per client). The firm's record retention should still live in long-term storage.
How do I find an old link in January?
If you attached your firm email at upload, /find lists every file you've sent under that email. It shows active, in-grace, and recently purged so you know whether re-upload is needed.
Will the client need to sign up?
No. Client opens the link in any browser, sees the inline PDF, downloads. No password reset, no portal login, no app install.
