quik.spaceBack to drop

File sharing for architects.

A detached Revit central is 700 MB. The construction-doc PDF set is 240 MB. The contractor will not onboard to a portal for a single submittal. quik.space sends one file up to 5 GB for $5, renders the CD set inline, and dies on a 72-hour clock unless you extend it. Send the model, send the docs, walk away.

Free under 100 MB. $1 up to 500 MB. $5 up to 5 GB. No signup, no AI training on your files.

The architect problem

A Revit central file is 600 MB. A construction-document PDF set hits 200 MB before you add renderings. Email kicks back the attachment. The general contractor's BIM 360 takes a week of onboarding. The client just wants to see the floorplan tonight.

How quik.space fits in

quik.space sends a Revit model or full CD set over one link, up to 5 GB for $5. The recipient opens the link, sees an inline PDF preview of the construction docs, and downloads the RVT separately. No BIM 360 account, no Procore invite, no 14-day procurement review for a single file.

An example workflow

  1. Export from Revit or AutoCAD. Detach the Revit central, eTransmit AutoCAD with xrefs, print the CD set to a single PDF.
  2. Upload to quik.space. 200 MB CD set: $1. 1.5 GB Revit model: $5. Bundle both in one space ($5, 30-day clock) if the recipient needs them together.
  3. Send the link. Client, contractor, or consultant opens it in a browser. PDFs preview inline so the client can scroll plans before downloading.

What you’ll typically send

File types architects usually ship through quik.space:

  • Revit RVT and NWC navigations
  • AutoCAD DWG sets
  • SketchUp SKP models
  • Rendered TIFFs and high-res PNGs
  • Construction-doc PDF sets

Typical delivery size sits around 200 MB to 3 GB per submittal. That maps to the free tier (under 100 MB), the $1 Large upload bracket (under 500 MB), or the $5 XL upload bracket (up to 5 GB). See pricing for the full table.

Private by default

quik.space does not train AI on your files. We do not read them. We do not index them. The file is visible only to whoever holds the share link, and it auto-deletes when the clock runs out. WeTransfer changed its terms in July 2025 to allow AI training on user files. We made the opposite call and put it in writing.

Frequently asked

Can I send a Revit central file?
Yes. Detach the central first (File > Open > Detach from Central), save the resulting model, and upload that. Up to 5 GB per file.
Will the construction-doc PDF preview inline?
Yes. Multi-hundred-page CD sets render inline in the share page. The client can scroll and zoom without downloading.
What about IP on the drawings?
The link is a random 8-character ID, practically unguessable. We do not index files. We do not train AI on user content. For higher-stakes work product, extend the link to 30 days only when needed, and don't post the URL publicly.
Can I group an RFI submittal into one place?
Yes. Create a space for $5: drop the RFI PDF, the photo of the field condition, and the updated detail sheet. The whole group expires together on a 30-day clock, renewable for $5.
Does the contractor need an account?
No. The contractor opens the link in any browser and pulls the file. No BIM 360, no Procore, no 14-day onboarding.
